Hey i checked to see if there was a post like this but i didnt find 1 but if there is 1 plz close this by all means.
Anyways title speaks for itself.

My pros and cons.

+ Free Online Gaming
+ Great Community
+ Good 100+ Hours gaming.
+ Great Graphics
+ Great Sound
I really like this game, ive never really liked RPG's before but i was hooked on this.

- Gets tedious
- Same thing over and over again
- Ive played for 122 hours and now i wont play it again because its boring and i only have 1 character.
- Once u pass ascension it gets boring.
- Not Enough Weapons for ranger class
- Not enough Armour for Ranger Class.
- Farming more or less just crap now, so no good items.

There you have it simple, these are my opinions, i will not judge other ppls, so do not judge myn....plz.

Cons.

Umm...uh.........boring grind past a certain point? I dunno.

Btw this would probably get more response in the main forum.

Pros-

*Free (Monthly)
*Pleasant Community (overall)
*Customization (need more though )
*PvE and PvP elements
*IMO good value
*So far for me around 200 or 250+ hours of enjoyment
*Different class combos
*Many different skills to choose from

Cons-
*There are some morons; that cannot be helped
*PUGs are rather bad; once again, ANet cannot help this directly
*Henchies are rather bugged and get "caught" on things (they are taking steps to fix this right now)
*Beastmastery is rather weak
*Yes, gwen is annoying

i think people have covered most of the pros i would say but I need to add some cons

Geting stuck in the secreny esp when trying to run away and dieing
The groups of monsters that seem to appear out of nowhere and kill you when you doing well.
People who say they know what thier doing but don't have a clue.

I liked gwen esp when she was healing me, saved me a few times too

Cons:

Henchmen getting stuck. (but this is getting worked on)

When trying to pull or run from enemies, enemies with swords/axes/hammers that are 10 feet behind you still can damge you.

SOME Whiny, annoying, selfsih people(not something ANet can fix)

Primary Channel Spamming for Join My Guild/Trade

Difficulty finding good PUG's (again not something ANet can fix)

eh..over all...I like the game.

PROS ~

Absolutely free - you only pay for the game and add-ons
Good community in Pre-Ascalon
Multiple ways of playing the game
Open-Ended structure (Apart from Missions)
RPGers have the best of BOTH worlds
up to 460 skills to unlock
Completely Difficult and accessible to all types of players

CONS ~

Some buggy Henchmen and AI
Spamming (FFS mod this down)
Parties (Although some are good, about 70% are crap and either leave on first instance or call you a noob when you can kick their ass!)
Gets repetitive doing the last missions OVER and OVER and...
No lip-synching (Apparent during Cut-scenes)

OVERALL ~

A great game if you can stomach the bugs

Pros:
all the mentioned above

Cons:
Not enough guild controls
Not enough character appearance customization options (hair, face, etc)
Not many different armors
Walk a couple steps, monsters come out, walk a couple more, some more pop up, etc... very repetitive in many parts of the game in missions.
Only runs in windows (the biggest con for me x_x)

I also hate the leeroys that are filtering in!

1. community os not that good
2. to linear for me
3. not enough character development (not talking skill wise)
4. not a good RP environment
5. no real rewards for pvp

8. not enough weapons, armor, etc to choose from
9. lack of real content ( i.e. cool weapons, treasures, super bosses, secret areas, aromr, etc etc

well that about sums it up for me...so now Im just looking for a new traditional mmorpg for me to play

PROS:
No {expletive deleted} payment plans
VERY good graphics
Solid engine
No lag
Lots of customizeation
Good XP system
Pretty good music
Good class mixing system

CONS:
Lots of kids to ruin community
Idiots who don't use trade channel sell their useless crap (there should be a law against that)
Need a higher level with big quests that a guild can do (taking down a huge boss at a secluded location for armor pieces, venturing HUGE quests for certan armor parts, venturing to the ends of the earth for a weapon upgrade... the kind of stuff that makes you want to level to 200 so you can get half way there..)

+ Very nice and detailed world to inhabit
+ I really like the quests, they really got style and don't get too repeditive (spelling?) - sometimes I catch a girl for some guy in town, sometimes I have to take down bandits who stole something, etc.
+ If you searching long enough, you will find really kind and helpful players even in PUGs
+ Lvl20 Cap
+ Much skills to choose for your builds

- Most of the skills look them same, or have crappy 2d animations, although it doesn't matter THAT much in battle
- I don't get to play GW from Monday to Thursday because of my shitty proxy in my students apartment.

There are lots of pros, yes, but I'm only gonna bother listing the cons.

> Very little character customization, everyone looks the same.
> Needs more special/secret areas, weapons, armor, and other stuff... Unique stuff, even. Clothes/jewelry would be very welcome too.
> Becomes a tedious grind after a certain point(OH GOODIE ANOTHER SKILLPOINT!11!1onehundredeleven!11).
> No great goals, level gains just don't feel rewarding enough.
> Doesn't leave me wanting to play more, like other games(eg WoW, AO, RO, DAoC, EQ(2) etc).
> Crappy voice acting, annoying cinematics and characters that make me feel... Stabby. Think Rurik/Gwen. I lol'd when Rurik died... damn, I hated that asshat.
> Lots of crappy skills.
> Buggy, esp AI.
> Spam in mainchat and idiots who ruin parties.
> Poor intro considering how the rest of the game is. I'm not saying Pre-searing isn't completely awesome game-play-/graphicswise, I'm just saying that it's a poor preparation for the rest of the game, being a 'n00b zone' and all.
> Not exactly great balance, monster-/itemwise.

Pros
-Free
-Good graphics
-Small and elusive, but existing good community

Cons
-Grind Wars
-PvP is no longer balanced
-My entire guild is inactive besides 2 or 3 members at peak hours
-PvE is boring, monotonous, repetitve, and other synonyms for "Sucks".
-Lots of idiots
-Lots of idiots
-Lots of idiots
-Falsely advertised through beta and everything A.Net has ever said/written

The cons far outweigh the pros. So I quit.

Pros:

- no monthly fee
- lots of PVE stuff to do
- best substitute for Diablo III around

Cons:
- instancing makes the game not able to compare with real MMORPGs at all
- finding a party is always a major pain in the butt, amounting worst grind ever put into any game
- having to kill the same mobs that you have already killed millions of time every time you leave town is a huge pain in the butt
- AI henchmen are dumb as bricks
- PVP does not feel like PVE at all. they have totally different atmospheres, and the PVE atmosphere is a lot better
- getting new people to join your Guild is impossible because everyone already has a Guild before you meet them
- Friend's List has way too few spaces on it
- trading system is a horrendous nightmare
- can't add Koreans to Friend's list
- Guild Halls are way too hard to win/buy
- no one lets Warriors in their parties in PVP
- can't change our body size after creating a character (they said they'd let you change your face and hair in a future update but body size is just as important as face/hair and this may be neglected in that update)
- voice-acting is very bad, and many times absent where it should be present
- storyline is not that good and it forces you to become a traitor even if you don't want to
- ending is really really bad
- way too little music and it's repeated far too often
- sound is underwhelming
- can't copy TS/Vent IPs that people send to you. instead you have to type them in manually, a huge pain in the butt
- can't acquire White Mantle armor to wear for yourself
- Spirits spam in PVP isn't very fair

PS: don't mind the cons list being a lot longer, that's because i'm a pessimist

Pros- Straight up fun
PVP (Say what you want about it I am a personal fan)
Free online of course
All instanced areas means I can explore anywhere and go at my own pace without fear of some dinklips busting my balls
Social aspects
Go at my own pace feel (I am not in some flying rush to get to level 20 or completely ascend)
Rune and rare weapon drops create an extreme sense of excitement and satisfaction
Anet's constant implications of solutions to fans complaints.

Bad- Not enough time to play it, everyone seems to have ascended but me. I have had the game since launch.
Jerks of course
Inflation
Lack of visual customization
There could be more social jazz, like an outpost free of people spamming trying to sell there stuff
